The PQWT-TCM Series Geophysical Water Survey Detector utilizes natural electric field sources as its working principle. By measuring resistivity contrasts between underground rocks, minerals, and groundwater aquifers, it analyzes natural electric field components from surface to subsurface. The instrument measures multiple frequency electric field components and electromagnetic energy variations to identify geological anomalies.

The collected data is automatically processed and presented as curves and profiles through the instrument's built-in calculation functions. These visual representations clearly display subsurface formation structures and characteristics, enabling rapid identification of faults, contacts, fractures, linear structures, joints, cavities, and aquifers.
